Elijah Clark
Elijah Clark is a musician, composer, and teacher. Elijah moved to Seattle in 2005 to study with Trombonist Julian Priester, Pianist Dawn Clement and Composer James Knapp at Cornish College of the Arts from which he holds a Bachelors degree in instrumental performance. Since 2010, Elijah has been performing nationally with Seattle based Afrobeat-Funk collective Polyrhythmics and has toured and/or recorded with a diverse cast of projects, including: Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Willie Gonzales, Cataldo, Cambalache, and Adrian Quesada. As a teacher, Elijah’s focus is on fostering a love for music in each student through improvisation, creative practice, and musical fundamentals.
