Similar to the 6V6, the 5881 is a reliable, general purpose power tube. Matched sets are available for soft, medium, and hard styles. Soft tubes break up easier with the least headroom. Hard tubes are harder to break up and have a lot more headroom. Medium tubes fall in the range in between.
