Sarah Aldiab

Sarah AldiabSarah Aldiab is a Governor’s School for the Arts alumna and holds a B.M. in Music Performance. She has been playing the violin for over 20 years, the viola for 10, and piano since elementary school. Sarah held the principal violist position of the EKU Symphony Orchestra and received the Orchestra Merit Award in 2014. In 2015, she had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Florence, Italy, to study music and art.

 Along with her classical training, Sarah is well-versed in a variety of other musical styles, such as Irish fiddle and rock/pop. Sarah has performed with the groups String Elegance, Louisville Strings, the Kentucky Bach Choir, the Vincennes Ceili Society, and Volare String Quartet, performing repertoire spanning from classical to modern. She has also accompanied students on piano for recitals.

Sarah has been teaching music for many years in both private and group lessons. Sarah truly enjoys helping students reach their full potential and find joy in playing an instrument. Her lessons focus on strong technique, good tone production, ease of playing, and understanding of musical theory. Students are motivated to accomplish clear goals set in lessons.

Days at Saffron: Tuesdays, Wednesdays
