Victoria Ortigo

A Louisiana native, Victoria Ortigo (mezzo-soprano) graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 2015. She has performed in venues across the United States, playing pivotal roles such as Dorothy Brock in 42nd Street (directed by three time Tony Award nominee, Terrence Mann), Catherine in Proof (Winner of Outstanding Actress in a Lead Role & Outstanding Show for City Park Players’ 2018 Season), and Miss Pinkerton in Gian Carlo Menotti’s hilarious opera The Old Maid and the Thief. Broadwayworld.com reviewed Victoria’s performance in 42nd Street calling her portrayal “a more than suitable diva” and “nearly perfect”.

A lifetime lover of choral arts, Victoria made her New York debut at Lincoln Center in 2013, performing Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms and John Rutter’s Mass of the Children. A former Board Member for Spectral Sisters Productions, an avant-garde theatre organization in Central Louisiana that produces two new works festivals a year, Victoria is proud to have collaborated with musicians and playwrights throughout the South East. Now a full time resident of the PNW, Victoria is honored to teach voice, piano, and beginner percussion at Moore Brothers Music.
